Erin's ☆☆☆☆☆ Review of
Priest
By Sierra Simone
Sinfully sexy.
Priest takes forbidden romance to a new extreme. "I am a priest and this is my confession." And what a delicious confession it is! Holy tingles!!
Father Tyler Bell has been a priest for three years. He loves his parish, his parishioners, his God. One confession, one woman, will test his vows and make him question his path in life.
I was so immersed in this story and these characters. Tyler and Poppy were two people with difficult pasts, trying to find their places in the world. When they meet, things begin to fall into place, while at the same time, throwing them off balance.
Priest is beautifully written with poetic prose and filled with passion, angst, and devotion. Something like this could have been sacrilegious and dirty but Sierra Simone was able to show how the act of love, by its very natural, is both beautiful and spiritual.
I really want everyone to know how amazing this book is but I know that nothing I can write is going to fully encapsulate my love for this story. Priest was one of those books that you experience. I didn't just read it, I was part of it. I was a part of Tyler and Poppy's journey and I loved every minute of it.
