Tanner and Paciano Fratelli are on opposite sides of the law. Chelsea is a successful barrister in one of Sydney's top law firms and Pacer is a member of the Legano crime family. When Pacer walks into Cheslea's office he's shocked to find out that this no nonsense, sexy woman is actually his "hot shot barrister" and he's even more surprise at how attracted to her he his. As these two delve into Pacer's case, things between them heat up. Their connection is palpable and oh so steamy. TJ Hamilton definitely knows how to write some sexy scenes. I was interested to see where this story would take us. What was going to happen to Pacer? What secrets is he keeping? Is Chelsea and Pacer's connection strong enough to withstand the mounting pressure against them? Chelsea is determined to get Pacer out of the legal mess he has found himself in. She works tirelessly to find evidence to exonerate him. I felt that Hamilton did a fabulous job at setting the story but I wish she would have let us in on more of the behind the scenes work that Chelsea had been doing. I felt like things just happened and I was curious about the details. That being said, I was engaged in the story throughout. I really wanted to know how things would play out with both the legal aspect and with Chelsea and Pacer's relationship. And let me just say, Hamilton can write an epilogue!! This is the first book I've read by TJ Hamilton and I will most definitely be reading more.
